- Qualifications
There must be one adult (parent, grandparent or guardian) over age 18 on the account with the minor. (Can be an ILUTMA account with one custodian) The parent, grandparent or guardian must maintain a Smart or eSmart checking account in order for the minor to have the Smart eKids savings account.
